Our Police Teams are the eyes, ears and guide of the Municipality on the street in our District, which has an area of approximately 447,107 square kilometers, a population of 169,214 and 30 Neighborhood Headmen, listens to the citizens and tries to solve the problems. Our Police Department continues its activities with all its strength, 24/7, 365 days a year, in order to ensure the peace and welfare of the people of the town, and tries to provide its services to the public in the widest way possible.

The Police Department plays an active role in social life, improving the quality of life of citizens. is an important organization that aims to improve the level of social peace and welfare. For this purpose, the current understanding of the Police Department; In the fulfillment of the duties imposed on the Municipality by the Municipality Law No. 5393 and other laws within the borders of Talas Municipality, the duties and powers granted to the Municipal Police within the framework of the Laws, the protection of public order or general health, and the purpose of ensuring the health, well-being and tranquility of the residents of the town, acting contrary to the order given in accordance with the law. In order to impose administrative sanctions on those who do so in accordance with the relevant legislation and the Misdemeanor Law No. 5326, and to control the public markets where people shop heavily in our district, to prevent unfair competition. Mobile activities are not allowed.

In addition, the Licensing Department affiliated to our Directorate ensures the licensing of workplaces opened within our District borders.

In addition, Municipal Service units, social equipment and facilities are provided by the Private Security Department. It provides private security services in order to prevent damage to the goods and materials inside and to prevent theft.
